General Information

Jasper, one of Canada's finest resort areas and world famous for its beauty, is home to The Sawridge Inn & Conference Centre. Unforgettable impressions are created by the collage of immense forests, jeweled lakes, rugged glaciers, colorful alpine meadows and a wide variety of wild animals in their natural habitat. Nestled amidst this breathtaking scenery in the heart of Jasper National Park, The Sawridge Inn & Conference Centre provides the ideal environment for meetings, conferences or pleasure.

History

Jasper Park Forest Reserve was first created in 1907. It earned its full right as a National Park in 1930, and now covers over 13,000 square kilometres. The current population of the Jasper town site is roughly 5,500 happy souls. Most of the economy is derived from the National Park Services, the Canadian National Railroad and Tourism.

The Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre opened its doors to our very first clients in the spring of 1983. The hotel is owned by the Sawridge Cree First Nation. Our head office is located in Edmonton, Alberta.
